Applique workflow

Applique blocks are marked with BlockRole.Applique. The editor automatically:

1. Generates a placement outline (running stitch trace).
2. Adds a tackdown layer (zigzag).
3. Removes occluded stitches under the fabric block.
4. Adds a cover satin on top.

Cut-file export

File → Export → Cut File gives you SVG or HPGL/PLT for your fabric cutter, with:

• Douglas-Peucker polyline simplification
• Configurable kerf offset (blade width compensation)

Tip

Always preview the cut file in your cutter's software before sending fabric. Kerf changes by blade — measure your blade and update the offset.
