Claude

One link. Claude opens its add-connector window with the name and address already in it; you sign in to StitchKit and confirm.

Works on the web, the desktop app and the phone. The link only fills the form in — nothing is added until you confirm it.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT has no one-click link for a connector you add yourself, so it takes four steps, on chatgpt.com in a browser.

Open Settings, then Apps & Connectors.
Under Advanced, turn on developer mode.
Create a connector, paste the address below, and choose OAuth as the sign-in method.
Sign in with your StitchKit account and allow it.

Set it up on the web once. In the desktop app the tools work but their pictures are not drawn, so a preview arrives there as a link.

Codex, Cursor, VS Code and other clients

Anything that speaks MCP over HTTP can connect, as long as it can sign in with OAuth. A client that only takes a fixed token cannot connect yet.

Things to ask for

“Stitch the name Ayse in a script font, 30 mm tall, in red.”
“List the shapes in this SVG, then stitch the leaves as satin at 40 degrees.”
“Convert my crest design to DST and give me the file.”

If something is off

The assistant says your plan does not include it: The connection is part of the Pro and Ultimate plans. Change the plan in the StitchKit app under Account, then ask again — there is nothing to reconnect.
The tools are missing or out of date: An assistant remembers the tool list from when it connected. Remove the connector and add it again, and it will read the current one.
A design does not appear in the app: Designs arrive in the cloud library; the StitchKit app fetches them by itself. Sign in to the app with the same account, and pull to refresh the library.
